At Prop Vault Storage, sustainability is woven into everything we do. We are committed to providing environmentally responsible set disposal and recycling solutions for the Film, TV, and Theatre industries.
RECYCLE
When sets are no longer needed, we carefully dismantle them and separate materials into wood, metal, and plastic. These are then sent on to be reused or recycled as raw materials — helping reduce waste to landfill, lower our carbon footprint, and keep our prices competitive.
RE-USE
We’re equally committed to reusing items wherever possible — but always with the permission of the production company. We understand that some props, costumes, or scenic elements may be sensitive, protected, or unique to a production. Nothing will be repurposed or redistributed without the clear approval and blessing of the original owner.
With that in mind:

Costumes, furniture, and props that are no longer required, and approved for reuse - are donated to UK-based charities.​

Scenic elements and set pieces may be offered to local theatre companies, schools, and community groups, helping extend their useful life and support the arts at a grassroots level.​

Our purpose-adapted facility in Oxfordshire is fitted with solar panels, allowing us to reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy and operate in a more environmentally conscious way.
We're also taking steps to offset carbon emissions by planting trees across the UK, contributing to long-term environmental restoration.
